I recently made a big batch of cold brew coffee to keep at work.
Unfortunately, it seems to be about three times as caffeinated as usual. I drank one cup of it on Monday and basically gave myself caffeine-induced all-day anxiety.
I think the next batch needs to be diluted a lot more...
I spent several weeks waking up with blinding headaches that persisted until I was comfortably into my second mug of coffee of the morning. For a scientist it took me an alarmingly long time to spot any connection. I have now massively reduced my coffee intake and am no longer suffering from horrible headaches that can only be assuaged with the next hit. I had become a bit too fond of the new bean-to-cup machine...
