My MIL:  Have you told the kids about Santa yet?

Dr. S:  . . . Mom.  THEY'RE JEWISH.

    My Christian relatives also ask us what my husband and I (both orthodox jews) are doing for christmas, and usually are horrified when we respond that we are covering for our colleagues (for all the times they covered work for us when we were off for chagim).
