35 Weeks and Doctoral

With a minimum of difficulty- mainly relating to the power going out 15 minutes before my talk- I have successfully defended a thesis. I have three weeks to turn in some extremely minor thesis revisions. I almost can't believe I actually made it. The power of determination and desperation! And being 35 weeks pregnant.


Behold my latest sewing effort. I am frickin' huge, and have gained about 35 pounds- all directly on my front- and I don't care. Baby wants a SNACK.

I'll bike to work this summer. Honest.
