And now Tatoe is asking me "What dat called?" all the time. And "Whatchoo making?". It's all too cute! The little moo moos - I bet they're fantastic. Jenny F. He was a bit behind on his speech development, and as I stalled on figuring out speech therapy, he caught up and went above and beyond in the past 4 weeks since he turned 2. Not making jokes yet, but beyond cute. That lispy little voice.
We fight over who gets to put Little to bed because our Big (4 in December) sounds only a smidgeon less difficult (and perhaps only less difficult because he does go to daycare 35 hours/week) than Bug. EVERY SINGLE night he has a screaming/hitting/"cursing" meltdown which, once he calms down, he states is because "I don't like the bath. Its not fun. I don't like brushing. I don't like to pee".
So, yes, I love the toddler development phase.anahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18320182732889825712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36650952.post-33092139766151690332013-11-06T01:23:57.178-05:002013-11-06T01:23:57.178-05:00the development is fascinating! my kiddo is 17 mon...the development is fascinating! my kiddo is 17 months, I can't wait to see what he's like at 2 yrs... I'll be taking my daughter (who'll be two on Monday) to her 2 year check-up this week, and in the reminder notice I got one of the things they said they'll be looking for is a vocabulary of 25 words. Hah! She can name more than 25 _animals_. Probably easily 25 items of food. And that's just the tip of the ice berg. And what I find most amazing is I only experience her English vocabulary; her German is probably just as good, though she mostly uses that at daycare and we only get a handful of German words at home. How on earth it develops so effortlessly is amazing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36650952.post-26050812815954969482013-11-04T09:06:16.632-05:002013-11-04T09:06:16.632-05:00I love the toddler jokes.
